Philip Bowman: Philip Bowman's work is a combination of the spontaneous expression of abstract art, elaborated color fields, ornamental references and modern urban designs in a style which is exciting and greatly poetical at the same time. Philip Bowman has mainly been working at the cultural centers of Berlin and Stuttgart. Numerous of his paintings are part of international and private collections such as the Press collection in Hannover. Exhibitions at Kunsthaus Tacheles (Berlin), the well-known art markets at "Straße des 17. Juni" and Museum Island Berlin. Die hauptsächlichen Wirkungsstätten des Künstlers sind die Metropolen New York und Berlin. In den Arbeiten Philip Bowmans verbinden sich die spontane Ausdruckskunst des Abstrakten Expressionismus mit durchkomponierten Farbflächen, ornamentalen Bezügen und einer modernen urbanen Formensprache voller Poesie. Zahlreiche Werke befinden sich in internationalem Firmen- und Privatbesitz. Bisherige Ausstellungsorte sind u.a.: Kunsthaus Tacheles (Berlin), Galerie Mulack (Berlin), Independent Art Gallery (N.Y.), die bekannten Berliner Kunstmärkte an der Straße des 17. Juni und Museumsinsel, Sammlung Press, Galerie Liebreiz (Hannover).
